The Push RP

"Dinner sounds amazing," Nina said, standing with the baby. Luckily, she had brought a bottle for her. "I've been dying to go out, but it's dangerous to walk around alone."

"Were safe," Audrey told her as they walked through and out of the ally. She let her power wash over them, keeping them hidden to other paranormal senses. She knew she was suppose to be on a break, but hiding three people was nothing compared to hiding a whole building non stop.

'Thank you," Nina told her, smiling gently when she felt the power wash over them. They walked in silence for a while, until Nina saw a group of young children playing near them in an alley. "I wish that we could be out in the open without worry," she murmured, watching them play and thinking that her daughter may never get to do that.

Audrey sighed sadly. She didn't like to think about how much fun it would be to be able to come out doors for longer then a few hours once every four months. "You can though. At least, if you bring a shadow with you." She informed her. "I'd shadow you myself if I was aloud to leave more often then I am. When I shadow you, you are still seen, just not in the visions of the trackers or sniffs. You are only seen as a human being right now."

Nina nodded, having known that. "It's more for my daughters sake. Besides, I wouldn't like to bother you. You have work to do, things that are more important than just me," She smiled over at Audrey, enjoying the girls kindness.

Audrey wanted to tell her that there were other shadows that would be willing to help her, but she knew that Nina didn't trust people as easily as she herself did, always seeing good in people instead of bad. Call it being naive, she never cared.

Nina pointed towards a small, private diner. "Would you like to eat here? They're very good," It was one of her favorite places to go.

"Sure," Audrey said excitedly, thinking the small diner was cute, like something she saw in the movies she watched usually by herself.

Nina held open the door for her then followed her inside, going to sit at her favorite little booth. It was in the corner and gave a nice view of the restaurant, in case anyone dangerous walked in.

Audrey smiled brightly as the handsome waiter gave them their menus, then looked away obliviously to scan her menu, the happy smile still on her face.

Nina gave the waiter her order right away without taking a menu, then settled back to feed her baby. "Hot, isn't he?" she asked, winking at Audrey as the waiter went into the kitchen.

Audrey was confused at first and then followed her gaze to the retreating waiter. She smiled, looking him up and down. "Very. Human too." She observed thoughtfully.

"Perfect for a hook up," Nina joked, knowing that was something she would never do. It was nice to wish that she could though, that she was normal.

Audrey giggled softly. "I could never, even if I did want to. Being stuck in a building has a lot of down sides." She cocked her head at Nina, her eyes claculating. "I could watch the baby for you, if you ever want to go out? I'm always looking for things to do. It's so boring being in there all day." She told her honestly. Babysitting the baby would keep her distracted and help time go by.

"I'm not the going out type, but I would love for you to babysit every once and a while," Nina smiled, reaching across the table to squeeze Audrey's hand. "And you never know. Maybe a cute guy will wander through the house," she said, winking again.

Audrey thought of one cute guy impaticular but blinked away that image. Sadly, she hadn't seen him around for awhile now and she guessed he must of moved on to another safe house. She sighed, shaking off the thoughts. "I'm sure someone will be around for you too," Audrey told her, her bright smile back in place. "And I'm honored that you can trust me enough to watch your daughter."

"I think you and Ronnie are the only onces I really know and trust right now...Melanie is important to me. I just...wish I could be a better mother to her," What kind of mother couldn't remember who the father of her child was, and had to struggle every day to keep her child safe?

Audrey's eyes were soft and simpathetic. "I'm sorry. I wish there was more I could do to help," She told her softly. "If it helps, I think you are a great mother, very selfless and willing to give up everything for your daughter." She told her truthfully.

Nina smiled sheepishly, looking down at her baby. "Thank you...it's nice to hear that." Sometimes she needed the reassurance that keeping her baby was the right thing to do.

"You're welcome," Audrey smiled kindly just as the waiter came back to take their orders. "Chicken fingers please," She told the waiter, handing him her menu.

Since Nina had already ordered, she just smiled as the waiter left, having given them both their drinks. She made sure Melanie was done with the bottle before hoisting her up to burp her. "I need to buy her some new clothing. Would you like to come with me after we eat?"

Audrey looked at her clock to see how long she has been gone. "Sure," She shrugged. "I still got a few hours." She grinned.

"Good, because Melanie needs clothing, and I need company," Nina smiled, very happy to have a friend, especially one who was such a powerful shadower.

"And I need a life," Audrey told her giggling. It felt so good to be outside of her giant home. Nice to breathe in fresh air. The waiter showed up not too long later with their food and she ate her chicken fingers gratefully.
