The Push RP

"I'm a Pusher," Nina told him, letting herself relax into his touch. "I...really, really hate being helpless," she added, thinking of the last time she'd been to Division, and the present time. "I live completely for my daughter. Before i found out I was pregnant, I was just going to...end things. I had nowhere to be, and the memories were just...horrible."

Gale nodded, letting her curl a little closer into him. He wanted to ask what those awful memories were, but he thought it would be best to keep them away. "And your daughter, is she showing any signs of her gift yet?" he asked.

"Not yet, but I don't know what her fathers gift was, so..." It was difficult to look for signs when she wasn't sure what she was looking for.

Gale nodded. "She might become a pusher too, and you could teach her," he pointed out with a soft smile.

"I hope that's what happens. If not, I'll have to find someone with her gift to help train her," Nina knew that a child with no knowledge of their gift was a dangerous thing. She "Once we get out of here, you could come home with me--to meet her."

Gale smiled. "I'd love that, I bet she's a very beautiful little girl," he said.

Nina smiled, because saying that was a compliment to her. "She is very beautiful," The sweetest, prettiest baby ever, in her opinion. But it was probably biased.

"She gets it from her mother I suppose?" he said, smiling down at her. Truth was, even hiding her bruises and with her hair half tangled, she was a beautiful girl. Really beautiful.

Nina could feel herself blushing at the more straightforward compliment. "Thank you," she said with a soft smile. It had been so long since she had talked to a boy pleasantly.

Gale smiled back at her, seeing her cheeks flush beautifully in responce. "Where are you from?" he asked her, fighting the urge to brush his fingers lightly over her blush.

"From this city, actually. That's why I've always sort of stuck around. It's home. A messed up, scary home, but home none the less," Nina shrugged a little, looking up at the ceiling. "What about you?"

"Same actually," Gale said with a small grin. "My parents died when I was really young, it's been just me and my sister for the longest time," he told her.

"How old is your sister?" Nina asked, her eyes fluttering closed slowly. She was so tired, but so far away from actually wanting to sleep.

"She just turned eighteen," Gale told her, grinning softly to himself. "She's been waiting to leave since she was little."

"So she's moved out? You must miss her..." And be worried. But working as a guard for Division, she was probably protected. She knew they had rights for their workers and their families.

"Not yet, but she's probably planning to right now or has already gone somewhere while I've been here at work," Gale told her, chuckling softly. "She comes back though, she always realizes that she's not really ready yet."

Nina frowned softly at that, wishing that her little brothers...could have gotten that far. "You must be pretty protective of her anyway," she murmured.

"Very, I'm going to make sure she's safe at home, either with me or someone that I trust, before I leave her alone at all," Gale told her. "Just like how you are with your daughter."

Nina smiled again, slowly. That was also a compliment. It made her feel like a good mother, and most times she felt like a horrible one. "I would never leave her in danger--" A loud noise from outside made her jump, even though she usually wasn't jumpy. At the moment, she was terrified, because she was in Division. She heard loud footsteps and the drunken laughter of men making their way down the hall.

Gale stiffened when he heard the sounds of his friends coming down the hallway. "Stay here, and don't move, no matter what happens," he told her firmly, pulling the blankets over her and getting up to stand by the door.

Nina didn't need to be told twice. She ducked under the covers, pulling them tight to her body, like they could shield her from what was redoubtably about to happen.

The door burst open with a bang, having been unlocked by one of the guards with a master key to the cells. "Gale, my man! I was hoping you'd still be in here," He pushed past Gale to rip the blankets of of Nina, who shouted in protest and pressed the front of her body against the bed. The rest of the men---there must have been ten of them--pushed into the small room, cutting off Gale and unintentionally boxing him into a corner before he could even try to make them leave. They were that eager.

"Guys woah! Wait a sec here!" Gale said, slipping around the other guards and clamping his hand on David's shoulder while he tried to get ontop of Nina. "Hold on," he told him, his voice firm, but he was sure not to let himself sound angry. They couldn't know he was attached to her.

David looked up at Gale with a confused, drunken stare. "Why? Boss said we could fuck her all we wanted, and he doesn't say that very often."

Nina, who was cowering beneath his body, which was half on hers, couldn't help wonder why she was the rare amount of "whore" that the boss let them have their way with.

"Cause for once, I want this one all to myself," he said, giving a lecherous, perverted grin down at Nina. "You guys get all the others, think I can have this one for once?"

"But there's no other girls in the cells," David whined, but pulled away from Nina. Gale was kind of scary, to be honest, and he didn't want to fight with him over some whore. He left the room grumbling, but two guards stayed behind as the others followed. They weren't drunk.

"I didn't take you for the kind who would force yourself on a girl, Gale," The taller of the men remarked, quirking an eyebrow. "How about you show us...a little proof?"
