"I'm only stating a fact," Ren chuckled, squeezing her hips gently. "Still feeling hungry?" he asked.

"Very hungry," Serenity said with a grin, leaning her head up and looking up at him.

Ren grinned back down at her. "Mm, then, shall we?" he said playfully.

"I think we really shall." Margarette murmured, leaning up a bit to kiss his lips before she pulled away to start climbing down.

Kaylee smirked, shaking her head slowly. "I don't usually wait for very long." She warned him mysteriously.

Ren chuckled softly and slid down off the tree after her before shifting smoothly and landing easily on his paws. He gave a wolfy smile as he looked up at Margette, his tail wagging a little eagerly.

Brad's eyes darkened just a little and he raised his hand for the check. When it came, he left some money on the table and took her hand. "We better get out of here now then," he replied in a low voice.

Margarette ran her hand through his fur softly before she easily shifted beside him, her face nuzzling against his side encouragingly.

Kaylee shivered in delight and let him lead her out of the restaurant. "Back to your place?" She asked, looking up at him innocently except for the small smile on her lips.

Ren growled pleasently and nuzzled her back, before gently licking neck. "Come, I'll show you a secret spot of mine,' he said, grinning when he saw that her eyes had changed colour again.

"Back to mine," he said, wrapping his arm around her waist and holding her close to him as he led her out. Tommy and Eric would be out all night, leaving them with no distractions.

Margarette licked his nuzzle softly as she walked passed him. "Lead the way pup," She teased, her eyes shinning with excitement.

Ren chuckled and began loping through the woods with an easy gate. "I still haven't proven to you I'm not a pup, yet, hmm?" he asked, grinning playfully.

"Mmm, you have but the nickname has stuck." Margarette barked contently, her mouth turning into a wolfy grin as she followed him intently. She wondered where he was taking her.

Ren laughed. "I suppose it's what I deserve,' he said, nipping gently at her neck again before lifting his muzzle to the wind to see if he could catch any scents.

"The morning is awfully quiet today," She pointed out as she trotted past a tree to see if she found any scents of anything they could prey on but she got nothing in this spot.

'They usually are, New Yorkers aren't found of waking up when they don't have to," he pointed out. Even the paranormals he had come to realize. He lowered his nose to the ground and picked up on a trampled, albiet old deer path.

"It's not contagious, is it? I don't like sleeping in." Marge said, looking at him with playfulness in her eyes as she saw him sniff the ground. "Anything?"

Ren chuckled softly. "Not unless you run your batteries out," he promised before his nose twitched. 'I think I got something," he said, moving quickly and silently as he followed the deer path.

Marge's head snapped in his direction and quickly she was following after him, keeping her other senses in alert as he followed the trail by sniffing it.

The stronger the trail became the faster they moved. Soon Ren curved away from the trail, carefully staying downwind as they approached. He settled low to the ground and stayed silent as a yearling nimbly stepped through the woods quietly nibbling on a leaf.

Margarette was beside him the whole way, their wolf bodies even moving towards the ground at the same time. It was strange but hunting like this in such a unison made her feel like they had hunted their entire lives together.

Ren passed her a small grin as they both locked eyes on their pray. His eyes flickered over to hers for a moment, silently asking her. Ready?

Margarette's eyes almost seemed to smirk at his. She had been born ready. It was hard to force her eyes to look away from him and back at their prey, ready to jump out.

Ren grinned back at her before locking his eyes on their pray. He nudged his muzzle to the left before breaking off and slinking into the underbrush. Working as a pair they would have this deer down in no time.

Marge followed his lead, her body moving in unison with his as their instincts just completely took over. Her eyes never left the prey, not until they jumped out and sunk their jaws into the tender meat.

It was stunning how fast they took down the deer together. The deer had first heard one of them, but by the time it moved to flee, they're fangs had both sunk into it's soft flesh. Margarette's in its neck and Ren's in its hide, dragging it down to the ground. The deer cried out but it sooned faded away as he and Margarette gave it a quick and near-painless death.
