ROLEPLAY: Runaway City 2

Stretch smiled when Sweet woke up, he pressed a kiss to her temple to quietly tell her good morning.

Sweet shivered a little, her hormones adjusting to the warmth as she looked over at Candy, who was sleeping. Where was the baby at, she wondered, shifting so she could get up to look around the room.

The newborn baby had been placed in a crib across the room. He cooed curiously when he heard noise, wriggling in his swaddle and starting to whimper quietly for attention.

Cookie let out a ragged breath after everything had calmed down. He looked down at Quinn, who seemed even more shaken by the sudden attack. He hugged her close, just so glad that she was okay.

It didn't even occur to Quinn that she was shaking until Cookie wrapped his arms around her. She hugged him tightly, glad he was ok. Glad that everyone was going to be ok. She tried to calm herself down with those thoughts.

Cookie kissed the top of her head. "Want to get out of here for a little bit?" he offered hugging her to him as she shivered. It might be good, Dean and Sasha had gone over to their place and Candy, Stretch and Sweet were at the hospital.

Quinn nodded, letting him lead her away. She felt like she had just watched a really scary movie and now this house had hidden scary murderers around every corner.

Cookie led her out of the house, the fresh air helping to soothe some of his nerves. He headed for the car this time though, helping Quinn inside before he got into the driver's seat, getting away, far away sounded good right about now.

Quinn stared out the window quietly, keeping her hands together in her lap so they wouldn't shake. She worked on breathing, and attempting to think of things that weren't what just happened.

Cookie looked at Quinn, still seeing her shake. "Come here," he told her softly ,wrapping his arm around her waist to hold her close to his side.

Quinn held on to him, wanting to cry but refusing to. "I'm sorry." She whispered, she felt like such a baby. Everyone else in the house was so strong.

Cookie shook his head, holding her close to him as he rubbed her side to help comfort her. "Don't be Quinn, none of this was your fault," he told her.

Quinn nodded, but it didn't make her feel any better. She just felt so helpless and weak. She wished she could of done something to help, instead of standing there and watching everything happen in shock the way she had.

Cookie was still worried if she was okay or not. His fingers travelled over her sides and back to see if she was hurt anywhere. "How about you?" he asked softly. "Are you okay?" he murmured.

"I'm fine," Quinn said softly, resting her head on his shoulder, "Just a little scared."

Cookie pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "I'll keep you safe Quinn, no matter what, I promiss," he murmured to her softly, driving down the road.

"I believe you," Quinn said quietly, and she did believe him. She trusted him more than she could trust anyone. She was just scared for him. He would die for her, he would die for everyone of his friends that he loved. And she really didn't want him to die.

Cookie gave a lopsided smile, hearing the tone in her voice. "But dat's what's bothering you, isn't it?" he asked her.

"Maybe a little..." Quinn admitted sheepishly. She felt kind of selfish for not wanting him to give his life fighting for his friends, but she couldn't help it.

Cookie smiled faintly, stroking her side slowly. "Wheech part?" he asked, wanting to know what was going through her mind.

"I feel stupid saying it out loud..." Quinn told him, blushing a little and trying to hide her face behind his shoulder.

Cookie chuckled softly. "Hey, eet's okay, eet's just you and me here," he told her, smiling when he saw her cute blush.

"I still find it embarrassing." Quinn told him matter of factly and then switched on the radio quickly. "Weird... this is my favorite song." She joked, trying to switch the subject.

Cookie chuckled softly. "You're changing the subject," he pointed out, squeezing her hip playfully. He wouldn't press it though if she didn't really want to talk about it.

"Nahh..." Quinn said playfully, pressing a cute kiss to his cheek. "Where are we going?" She asked curiously, in a better mood now somehow.
