Cookie chuckled softly and kissed her temple. "Is dat so bad?" he asked, caressing her side slowly.

Quinn just sighed and shook her head. She pressed her lips to his, hoping that might distract him away from giving her more complements.

"Why don't you believe me Quinn?" he asked her, kissing her softly, his lips moving sensually over hers.

Quinn paused, realizing she wasn't going to get out of this one. "Do we really have to talk about this?" She asked in a shy whisper.

Cookie shook his head, knowing it might be a little too much for her right now. "Non, but I just want you to believe that I feel so incredibly happy and lucky to have you as mine, that's all," he told her softly, searching her hidden gaze.

Quinn smiled softly. "I feel lucky and happy that you are mine too," She whispered sincerely.

Cookie smiled and cupped her cheek to bring her lips back to his once again. He'd make her feel beautiful again, step by step, no matter how long it took.

Quinn sighed, happy that he was kissing her again. She felt so relieved to be safe again, in his arms.

"Quinn, my Quinn," Cookie murmured to her, smiling softly as he carefully pulled the blankets over them again. He laughed a little when he heard the small "ding" of the oven downstairs. "I think we forgot about the brownies," he grinned. Thankfully the oven turned off by itself once the timer was done, so they didn't need to go down and shut it off themselves. They'd just go get the brownies later.

Quinn giggled softly too and then wrapper her arms around Cookie's waist tightly, hugging him to her. "I love you so much." She said as she squeezed him.

Cookie smiled and kissed the underside of her jaw. "I love you too Quinn," he told her, squeezing her back gently so that she wouldn't hurt.

Quinn sighed contently and wiggled her way up so her face was under his throat, breathing him in relaxingly.

Cookie smiled, hugging her close to his body and nuzzling her soft, sweet smelling hair. He settled in, stroking between her shoulder blades as he felt her relax into him.

Quinn yawned softly. "Are we going to go to sleep?" She asked him, her voice a soft whisper.

Cookie hummed softly, running his fingers through her hair. "Mm, do you want to sleep?" he asked her. Holding her like this, Cookie could definitely fall asleep easily.

"Yes," Quinn told him and then in a smaller voice, "But I'm a litter afraid too." She admitted.

Cookie kissed her forehead. "You're with me, and if you have a bad dream, I'll be right here," he promised.

Quinn sighed and then yawned again. "I guess it's no use staying awake forever." She told herself.

"Mhmm," Cookie murmured. "Get some rest, I'll be right here, even if you try and chase me away," he teased, kissing her temple.

Quinn smiled, her eyes fluttering closed as she started to fall asleep. "I wouldn't... wouldn't do.." She never finished, falling asleep before she could.

Cookie smiled and kissed her forehead one last time. "I know," he murmured, watching her sleep lovingly. His chest swelled happily and finally he closed his eyes and fell asleep with his arms wrapped securely around her.
