"Wouldn't surprise me, really." He told her with a chuckle. "And they're not married? I could of sworn they were... They seem like they are."

Charlotte looked down at the dishes she was watching and her smile grew a little. "They really love each other. I know it sounds a little corny, but I do believe they're each other's soulmates. Who would love Trey like that after all?" she said, looking over at Cole and grinning.

"I leave that analogy to you, I don't really know them." Cole said, admiring her beauty for a slow moment. "So you believe in soulmates?" He asked.

Charlotte blushed softly. "I do, I believe that there's someone out there for everyone. Some might just take a little more work than others." She looked up at Cole and felt her blush ease a little. She always felt comfortable around him, demon or not.

"You are just fascinating." Cole whispered softly. He felt the urge to kiss her again but he knew it was a terrible idea so he looked away to continue drying.

Charlotte's blush came back and she chuckled. "What about you then? What do you believe in?" she asked, running a little more warm water.

"To be frankly honest, had never believed in love or soulmates or anything. But It'd be dumb of me to believe that what your brother and his girl share is anything but." Cole said. "I only thought that existed in movies."

Charlotte grinned at him. "Well, that's one thing you and my brother actually do have in common,' she told him, handing him the last of the dishes and draining the sink. Maybe there was hope of them getting along...just a small little tinge.

"So we have something in common huh?" Cole said, feigning surprise and interest. He put the last of the plates down and leaning against the counter. "Not even that would sympathize with him if he knew I was putting the moves on his little sister."

"Putting the moves on, hunh?" Charlotte repeated playfully, drying her hands and turning back to him with an eyebrow raised.

"Do you have a better choice of words?" Cole countered, his eyebrow raising as well in a playful manner. She looked all cute when she acted that way.

Charlotte thought for a moment. "Nope," she answered, playfully, turning back to the dishes. "Can't think of anything else." She grinned.

Cole chuckled softly and pressed a soft kiss to her cheek. "So any chances I could steal you away and show you around the city?" He asked her.

Charlotte smiled up at him. "Oh, definitely," she said, turning her head to press a soft kiss to his lips. "You've been to this city before?" she asked curiously.

"A long time ago." Cole said softly. He had killed his first demon in this city, only to discover the burden didn't lessen once he did. "Do you think you're brother would approve?"

"Probably not, but he's gonna have to get used to you sooner or later," Charlotte said, sliding her hand in his and looking up into his eyes where she saw something passing. "He's distracted with Nashlay for the next little while now anyway."

Cole gave her hand a slight squeeze before he leaned forward again and kissed her. "He's not going to get used to me." He told her sincerely. "Then shall we?"

Charlotte smiled against his lips and nodded. "Let's go," she said, squeezing his hand back. Even if Trey and Cole didn't get the chance to learn to like each other. She quickly checked the living room to see that Trey, her mother and Nashlay were still busy before she and Cole headed towards the back.

"Sneaking out, huh?" Cole teased her once they were out of the house. He really hoped he didn't get her into trouble. Not sure why the odd thought occurred, or why he cared but he knew all he was was trouble.

"I'm a teenager, I know my rights to sneaking out," she told him playfully and giving him a small wink. She grabbed the keys to her car and felt a weight lift off her shoulders. No more Trey or drama for a little while, just being able to spend time with Cole.

"And here I was thinking you were uptight and followed the rules." Cole teased her with a grin as he carefully got into the car with her. "Ready for a night of fun?"

Charlotte stuck her tongue out at him playfully. "I can be fun too, and I'm gonna show you," she teased, giving him a light elbow in the ribs before she started the car and headed out of the driveway.

"Ouch!" Cole pretended to be hurt, rubbing his ribs softly. "You're a very evil nurse, you know that?" He teased her. He couldn't wait to see this fun side of her.

"Well of course, you should know that," Charlotte said, driving into the city. "I'm your nurse afterall," she teased, happy to be driving again. She loved the city, it was all so...big!

"How about we head to Central Park or Times Square?" Cole said with a smile, his hand sneaking to rest on her thigh lightly as she drove.
